Community impact at Trailblazers LDC
At Trailblazers Line Dance Club we believe dancing is about much more than learning steps. Dancing brings people together, helps build confidence, encourages physical activity and can play an important role in improving wellbeing.
Many people discover that dance and social activity not only help them stay active, but also help reduce loneliness, improve mood and create opportunities to connect with others in a supportive environment.
As Trailblazers grows, we are committed to exploring ways the club can contribute positively to the local community. In particular, we are interested in opportunities that encourage movement, connection and shared experiences which contribute positively to mental and physical wellbeing.
Over time Trailblazers aims to support initiatives that promote wellbeing, connection and community participation within the Brighton area, particularly for people who may benefit from opportunities to feel more active, confident and socially connected. We recognise the important role that community-based activities can play in reducing social isolation and supporting positive wellbeing.
Trailblazers would also welcome conversations with local community organisations who may be interested in exploring future partnership opportunities.
Our first community impact is our Brighton Pride charity line dance day. An all-day line dance event on Saturday 1st August 2026 to raise much-needed funds for a Brighton-based LGBT+ charity.
