Data protection law says we must have a valid reason for using your personal information. Depending on the situation, we may rely on one or more of the following:

Contract

Where we need to use your information to manage a booking or provide something you have asked for.

Who we may share your information with

We only share personal information where it is necessary and appropriate.

This may include trusted providers who help us run Trailblazers LDC and its website, such as website hosting or support providers, form providers, email marketing providers, payment processors, accountants, insurers or professional advisers, and legal or regulatory bodies where required.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of the services we use may store or process data outside the UK. If that happens, we will take reasonable steps to make sure appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep your information

We only keep personal information for as long as we need it.

As a general guide:

  • email marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or until we decide to close or clean the mailing list
  • suppression records may be kept so we can make sure we do not send marketing to people who have unsubscribed

Sensitive information

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through website forms or ordinary messages unless it is genuinely necessary.

This includes information about health, sexuality, race, religion, political beliefs or criminal offences.

If we ever need this type of information for a specific reason, we will explain that clearly at the time.
